Get your heart rate up and your weekend started right! Join us for a scenic trek through Carbon Canyon Regional Park, home to Orange County’s only grove of majestic Coastal Redwoods. Whether you’re a regular trailblazer or just looking for some fresh air and great company, this hike is for you.
🗓️ When & Where
Date: Saturday, February 21st
Time: 1:00 PM
Cost: $5 per vehicle for park entry (standard weekend rate)
Meeting Point: We will meet near the park entrance before heading toward the Redwood Grove trail.
🥗 The Post-Hike Plan: Potluck Style!
After we work up an appetite on the trails, it’s time to refuel! We are sticking with the Potluck plan.
The Plan: We’d love to do a casual potluck! If any member is open to hosting the group at their home nearby, please reach out to the organizer. It’s a great way to relax and get to know everyone better in a cozy setting. Please post in the comments section what you would like to bring.
The Backup: If we don't have a residential host, we’ll secure a picnic table right there in the park to enjoy our spread under the trees!
Note: We will finalize the specific lunch location (Host Home vs. Park Picnic) a few days before the event. Please let the organizer know what dish you plan to bring!
🎒 What to Bring
Plenty of water and sunscreen.
Sturdy hiking shoes or sneakers.
A great attitude and a snack for the trail!
