Fall Walk Around Balboa Park

Come enjoy the crisp fall weather and take a casual afternoon stroll through beautiful Balboa Park! We’ll be walking a scenic route, checking out some of the park's coolest spots, and hanging out.

Itinerary:

• Meetup: Bea Evenson Fountain (the big water fountain between Fleet Science Center & the Natural History Museum)
• Stop 1: Spanish Village Art Center (checking out the local artist studios & colorful patio)
• Stop 2: Botanical Building & Lily Pond
• Finish: Cabrillo Bridge for scenic city skyline views

Transit & Parking Tips (Save Gas & Skip Parking):

• MTS Trolley / Bus: Take the Green Line to Downtown or Old Town, then catch the MTS Rapid 215 or Route 7 directly to Balboa Park (the Park Blvd & Zoo Place or El Prado stops drop you right near the fountain).
• Rideshare: If you're coming from Mission Valley / Hazard Center, taking a quick Lyft straight to Fleet Science Center is a great way to save gas and avoid driving around for parking.
