PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION

Blockstack is a full-stack decentralized computing network that enables a new generation of applications where developers and users can interact fairly and securely. Blockstack uses blockchain technology to build protocols and developer tools designed to enable a fair and open Internet that returns digital rights to developers and consumers. In this presentation, Brittany Laughlin, Investor Relations Partner at Blockstack, will present an overview of Blockstack’s decentralized network and the latest developments.

This event is part of a series of meet-ups across Asia organized by Blockstack and Spartan Group. In 2019, Blockstack is focusing on supporting its growing community of users, developers and evangelists in Asia with an emphasis on content in local languages and increased focus on Blockstack community events in the region.

Ethereum ushered a new era of alternative protocols competing to be the foundation for DApps development. In this fireside chat, Brittany Laughlin, Investor Relations Partner at Blockstack, and Larry Salibra, Founder of New Internet Labs, will discuss how Blockstack is building a new internet for decentralized applications. Particularly interesting and one-of-a-kind is Blockstack’s app mining program which promises to fuel the development of DApps by rewarding those who build on top of Blockstack and make applications the users want. The goal is to create a self-governing process that dispenses funds to projects and developers.
