Who's On The Phone?

Details

On my recent trip to Nepal I read the book, The Gathering. Step Five in the process involves forgiving ourselves. For most of us, this is the work of a lifetime. An important part of self-forgiveness is discerning who’s the voice on the phone in your head? Is the voice speaking an echo of something critical someone once said? How does this compare to the voice of spirit that continually tells: “You are precious to me. You are my beloved.”

Join me this Sunday when I share a few challenges I experienced in Nepal, and the echoes in my head as they unfolded. The question of who’s on the phone helped me navigate through these experiences. I would love to share my insights with you.

Some questions for pondering:

  • Who’s usually on the phone in your head?
  • What echoes can you to identify?
  • What is the Source of these echoes?
