Exploring K6: A Modern Approach to Performance Testing by Valantins VrasidisThis presentation provides an overview of k6, a modern, open-source tool for performance and load testing, highlighting its core concepts, key features, and practical use cases. It explores how k6 enables efficient testing through simple, code-based scripts and demonstrates its integration with visualization and CI/CD tools for continuous performance testing.
The session also explores how AI can support the performance testing lifecycle, from assisting with test script creation and optimization to analyzing test results and generating meaningful reports. Through practical examples, we will examine where AI can add value, where human expertise remains essential, and how emerging approaches such as MCP can enable more integrated AI-assisted testing workflows.
