Dubai International Writers’ Centre is in the Al Shindagha Historical Neighbourhoodin Bur Dubai – right next to the Creek, souk and Al Ghubaiba Bus Station. Paid car parking is available in Al Shindagha no more than two or three minutes’ walk from the Dubai International Writers’ Centre. GPS coordinates 25.266825,55.288510.
By Metro
Dubai Metro is the best way to reach Dubai International Writers’ Centre, Al Ghubaiba Station, on the Green Line, emerges directly into the Historical Neighbourhood. Take Exit 3 for the shortest walk to Dubai International Writers’ Centre: you will find yourself on a large plaza area. Walk straight towards the large UAE flag that will be directly in front of you – you will then reach our back courtyard. Follow the alleyway – until you reach a smaller courtyard with a fountain – the car park will be in front of you and the entrance to the Dubai International Writers’ Centreon your left.
By Bus
Al Ghubaiba Bus Station is five minutes’ walk from Dubai International Writers’ Centre and many bus routes from Dubai and the other Emirates stop here. Cross the road toward the Metro station and head for the traditional buildings, then follow the instructions above for coming from the Metro station.
