๐ The UX Book Club Book ๐ More Than a Glitch by Meredith Broussard
Details
Join us for our upcoming online book club on Tuesday Oct 7th where weโll be discussing More Than a Glitch: Confronting Race, Gender, and Ability Bias in Tech by Meredith Broussard, a powerful look at how racism, sexism, and ableism arenโt just mistakes in technology but often built into the system itself.
Broussard, a data scientist and one of the few Black women in AI, explores how supposedly โneutralโ algorithms can reinforce inequality in areas like facial recognition, banking, and healthcare. Through clear examples, she shows why we must rethink and redesign our technologies to create fairer systems for everyone. Come along to share your thoughts!
