Join Tom Wujec, multiple TED speaker, technologist, executive facilitator, and founder of the Wicked Problem Solving System, in a deep dive into the mechanics of visual thinking. Tom will share practices of rendering mental models into a variety of visual expressions to help us think, communicate, and collaborate. Drawing from his 40 years experience guiding teams to build better products, create more engaging movies and video games, more sustainable buildings, and winning strategies, he will share approaches to make ideas visible. We’ll use a shared Miro board and think together to explore how to elevate conversations and improve decision-making.

Tom Wujec is an executive consultant and facilitator, multi-TED speaker, award-winning author, technologist, and creator of the Wicked Problem Solving system.
Tom has brought together his several decades of experience and insight into the Wicked Problem Solving system which features visual methods and tools to elevate organizational capabilities. WPS is delivered exclusively through PMI, the Project Management Institute, and contains methods, modules, and plays to support expert seasoned leaders as well as knowledge workers at the beginning for their careers.
As a technologist, Tom has brought several sophisticated software application products to market (including Maya, the first computer graphic application to win an Academy Award). For over a decade, Tom served as an Autodesk Fellow, where he guided the company from being a fast-follower to a thought-leader and helped many Fortune corporations design and execute business and technology transformations.
As the founder a boutique consultancy, Tom works with leadership teams in manufacturing, construction, pharma, private equity, retail, and professional services to foster strategic alignment and create modern playbooks for technology and business model transformations. As a speaker, Tom has delivered over 400 keynotes globally and speaks at TED regularly. Tom has designed and written seven books on emerging technologies, design thinking, and creative collaboration.
