I'm inviting you to a fun, flavor-forward evening at KooKoo, authentic Persian using family recipes. It's one of the best restaurants in DC for Persian.

FOOD: KooKoo opened in early 2024 and brings homestyle Persian flavors to DC with a modern touch. Highlights regularly mentioned include khoresh fesenjoon (slow-cooked chicken in walnut-pomegranate molasses sauce), smoked eggplant spreads, slow-roasted lamb, and the welcoming sabzi khordan starter platter with fresh herbs, pickles, and pita chips.
