Dr. Banyas has many years of training in traditional, energetic and functional medicine. She previously served as Medical Director of Geriatric Psychiatry at Herrick Alta Bates Medical Center in Berkeley CA, Summit Medical Center in Oakland CA, and California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco where she was on the faculty in the Department of Psychiatry and Medical Director of training in Geriatric Psychiatry. She also served as Director of Consultation-Liaison Services for various nursing homes and hospitals in the Bay Area.
