Join Still Moon for Wings of Spring, a vibrant celebration of bird migration in Renfrew Ravine!
This event blends community science with joyful creativity—a bird survey and a bird parade happening side by side. Whether you're an experienced birder or just bird-curious, you're invited to help observe and count birds as we move along the trail, all while celebrating in bird-inspired costumes and accessories.
Come dressed in your finest feathers and take part in this lively migration celebration! Still Moon will also provide bird costumes for folks to wear! We'll walk a 1.3 km route through the ravine over the course of a couple of hours. Please wear comfortable shoes, dress in layers, and bring water.
At the end of our route, we'll have snacks and tea and have time to talk about our favourite birds and enjoy a (hopefully) beautiful spring day!
The event is led by Still Moon’s Stewardship Program Manager, Connelly Stirling, who is passionate about community stewardship and loves to share knowledge about birds, bugs, and plants!
