Details
Second speaker announced! Simon Fox (https://www.linkedin.com/pub/simon-fox/3a/2b9/a36) from Playlab (http://www.playlablondon.co.uk/) to talk about behaviour change through gamification.
The latest edition of Think Drink Do (http://www.thisispaper.co.uk/thinkdrinkdo/) focuses on getting your organisation and internal folks prepped and ready to deliver behaviour change programmes.
We're delighted to announce Cath Richardson (http://uk.linkedin.com/in/ohrworm) from The Government Digital Service (https://gds.blog.gov.uk/) as the first of our speakers.
The evening is roughly split into three sections. One or two mini talks to help get your thinking cogs whirring. A chance to gulp down a drink and have a chat. And then a group exercise. In short some thinking, drinking and doing.
There are generally about 100 attendees from a wide variety of backgrounds; behavioural science, tech, charities, public sector, social entrepreneurs, service designers, UXers.... you name it. We're a pretty broad church.
THINK
User needs, not government needs
Cath Richardson (http://uk.linkedin.com/in/ohrworm), a user researcher at the Goverment Digital Service (https://gds.blog.gov.uk/) (GDS), will talk about creating behaviour change inside government. GDS started with a mandate to spark revolution not evolution in government digital services. From design principles to exposure hours, Cath will talk about what that looks like in practice with plenty of stories from the field.
Simon Fox (https://www.linkedin.com/pub/simon-fox/3a/2b9/a36) from Playlab (http://www.playlablondon.co.uk/) will introduce their new behaviour change game. Flowy (http://www.flowygame.com/) is a mobile game designed to combat panic attacks and anxiety with a combination of kittens, monsters and robots. He'll talk us through the research, creation, and testing that went into building this very playable product. Who said behaviour change couldn't be fun?
DRINK
Networking time with like-minded doers and thinkers.
DO
TBC, but don't worry, we've got a serious challenge up our sleeves!
