Each week in our regions all around the world, interesting locals like yourself get together to talk, share ideas and learn from the perspectives of others on a posted topic.

This weeks topic is: Attention

Is the opposite of Attention distraction? Or is it indifference, obliviousness? We pay attention to things that matter most to us most of the time. We pay attention to things that we like or gravitate to, and yet ignore the same things depending on where we are at in the moment. Attention is an amazing tool of focus and intent we have to accomplish our goals and meet needs. It appears to be limited in supply, otherwise why would we drop our attention on anything? Just like what we see is a very narrow focus area, the surroundings filled in, our attention is selective. How much of that selectiveness is learned or habit? And it is really attention if it is nearly automatic?

What do you pay attention to? What no longer grabs your attention? What was distraction before but attention now?
