Friendship

During our excellent discussion about Community, Friendship presented itself as the next thing to look at, this isn't a "Part Two" so there's no need to have joined us last time.

Some of the questions I'd like to explore are:

• What is friendship, at its core, and what is its intrinsic value to humans?
• How do we weigh the bonds made through circumstance (work, school, military) versus those we cultivate freely, like in our Thinkers & Drinkers group?
• What are the essential ingredients for making friendships last, whether they've endured for decades or just a few months?

Arrive at 7:00pm to begin social "half" hour, giving time for members to get their drinks and get settled. The discussion will begin at 7:30pm. We will be meeting in the back room and if we're not there we'll be out front in at the tables. Parking can be scarce so parking just before 7:00 is recommended.
