About us
We’re a discussion group that chooses topics and events democratically. All our events are free.
Some of the stuff we discuss:
- Question based - somewhat structured discussions around a few central questions each time, related to topics in the sciences, social sciences, literature, technology, art, philosophy, etc. Some will be hosted by professors or other experts, and others will be more decentralized. In either case, participation is encouraged. They’re not lectures or presentations.
- Short readings, fiction or non, including short stories, articles, and excerpts from longer pieces
- Short art films and similar
- Short videos and podcasts of various sorts, or excerpts of longer ones
