What we’re about
Vancouver is an amazing multicultural city, but people often stay within their own ethnic or national communities, making cross-cultural interactions less common. We are hosting this meetup to break those boundaries and create a space for meaningful cultural exchange!
This is our very first time organizing a meetup, but we are putting a lot of thought into making it fun and engaging so that everyone can enjoy and connect.
Language might be a challenge, but with mutual respect and an open mind, we can share cultures, ideas, and experiences. Both English and Japanese speakers are welcome—anyone from any background can join!
Everyone will be interested in your thoughts and experiences, so feel free to share! And if you prefer just to listen and gather information, that's totally fine too.

バンクーバーは多様な文化が共存する素晴らしい都市ですが、同じ民族・国籍の人同士で生活することが多く、異なるバックグラウンドの人々と出会う機会は限られています。私たちは、その枠を超えた交流の場を作るために、このミートアップを開催します！
今回が私たちにとって初めてのミートアップ主催ですが、参加者の皆さんが退屈せず、楽しく交流できるよう工夫を凝らしてオーガナイズします。
言語の壁はあるかもしれませんが、お互いを尊重しながら文化や情報を交換することで、新たな発見や友情が生まれるはずです。英語・日本語どちらも大歓迎！国籍やバックグラウンドを問わず、誰でも気軽に参加してください。
あなたの意見や経験に、みんなが興味を持つはずです。もちろん、「話すのはちょっと苦手…」という方も、ただ情報を聞きにくるだけでOK！
