Garb and Grub with Society for Creative Anachronism

Join us for a relaxed evening of food, conversation, and medieval-inspired fun. This Garb & Grub is an AlthingSCA gathering, which means a casual meet-up where people can socialize, wear period-style clothing if they have it, and enjoy the community. (Basically: optional cosplay and and communal dining)
If you are new to the SCA or have never heard of an Althing, that is completely fine. This is a welcoming, low-pressure event for newcomers and regulars alike. Think of it as a Renaissance Faire-style social gathering with a chance to learn what the group is about.
Come dressed in garb if you have it, and bring a dish to share if you are able (yes, you can show up in regular clothing).
There will also be armored combat activities, with gear available for anyone who wants to try fighting or learn more about it. Beginners and observers are welcome.
