Cackles & Tassels: Comedy Meets Burlesque (18+)
Details
Open to everyone 18+
Let’s get out of our comfort zone and try something new!
⚠️ This is a ticketed event. Please purchase your ticket (General Admission) before RSVPing on Meetup. ⚠️
This show combines stand-up comedy and burlesque performances, taking the Crescent back to its roots as a burlesque theater in the late 1800s — with a comedic twist. Featuring stand-up by one of our regular favorites, Josephine Rivera, plus burlesque performances.
THE PLAN
- Optional dinner meetup beforehand at Firehouse Wine Bar (short walk from the theater). Anyone who’d like to join us for food and drinks before the show is welcome.
- We’ll gather in the lobby area near the fountain drinks (look for the Meetup sign) and head into the theater together.
- Afterward, anyone interested can join us for an optional, casual conversation about the show.
GROUP ETIQUETTE
This is a group outing to enjoy a live performance — not an invitation for unwanted attention or advances. Please respect personal boundaries. Sexual harassment, unwanted touching, or inappropriate comments will not be tolerated. Anyone engaging in this behavior may be asked to leave. Let’s have fun and a laugh together!
First-timers welcome — come for the show, stay for the company!
