👩‍🏫 Talk:
Collaborative Design – how we build a design system together
Product Design at Mercedes-Benz.io means providing a consistent UX in all of our products. But what does that exactly mean and how can we achieve this? We have 36 product designers, who are distributed in about 18 product teams at 3 locations. We work together with frontend and backend developers, product owner, ITCs and so on. As you can imagine, the more people work together, the harder it is to achieve consistency. Therefore we have decided to build our own design system by collecting rules, constraints and principles which are then implemented in design and code. Are you interested in how we managed to come up with a solution which works best for us in a collaborative teamwork setup?
