Grupo de Percussão com Sinais, at Bota

O Grupo de Percussão com Sinais, (The Percussion Group with Signs), is doing its first concert at BOTA, 100% improvised show.

12 percussionists from different musical backgrounds along with special guests will do a musical interplay led by a conductor. Using more than 100 gestural signals, they will create vibrant, spontaneous, and unpredictable music. The 100 signals define different parameters for improvisation, such as meter, effects, and even solos.

Rhythm with Signals was created in 2006 by the Argentinian musician Santiago Vázquez in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is now a cultural phenomenon that has expanded to different regions of the world, including Lisbon:-)

Bota is near the Anjos metro station on the Green Line.
