What is Introvert's Social Club?
For most of us introverts, it’s not that we dislike meeting new people, but we’re drained by most of the circumstances that allow us to do so:
- The loud networking events
- The endless small talk
- The huge groups where you practically have to fight to be heard
This usually leaves us feeling drained, tired and disappointed and yet still craving connection!
Instead, us introverts get excited by:
- Meaningful conversation about topics we care about
- Discussions in small groups or 1:1
- A chilled environment where we don’t have to shout
- And a chance to get there without lots of small talk!
At Introvert's Social Club we organise laid back ways to have meaningful conversation with others in chilled quiet environments.

See all- Introverts x Improv: Getting Comfortable with Not Being in ControlVLC Playground, Valencia€20.00
We’re excited to be collaborating with the fantastic Valencia Improv Playground for a special workshop designed just for our community.
This session is all about helping you feel more comfortable with uncertainty — through fun, supportive improv activities that encourage openness, presence, and having fun making mistakes and letting go.
In a warm, judgment-free space, you’ll gently practice:
- Speaking without overthinking or filtering every word
- Being more accepting of mistakes, and starting to see failure as a source of creativity
- Building trust in your intuition and encouraging your creativity to flow more
- Trusting yourself and others
No experience with improv (or anything like it) is needed — just a willingness to explore and have fun at your own pace.
This is about acceptance, self-kindness, and discovering that when you don’t feel “in control,” you can access another part of yourself that lives within and is creative, explorative and also fun!
Who's the host?
After a decade doing improv and her Master’s Degree in Applied Theater, Rocío Barquilla is in love with the art of spontaneity on stage as a form of entertainment, personal development and innovation! She found a community of like-minded and open-hearted people in improv, and she is never looking back!Inexplicably funny, emotionally available and socially introverted. Rocío loves exploring the unknown through acceptance and trust, whether it implies comedy, longform, freeform, abstract, sensitive improv or life.
