'Pittfalls of event-driven data replication' and 'Humanizing Data Strategy'

Details
Two talks on development best practices:
‘Pittfalls of event-driven data replication’:
Max Zalota (Principal Engineer/Solutions Architect, P7S1) will deliver an insightful case study on the design of a robust solution for the Event-Driven State Transfer (ECST) architectural pattern. In his presentation, he will outline the algorithms developed to ensure eventual consistency, even in the face of out-of-order scenarios, "poison pill" messages and intermittent infrastructure failures. Spoiler - "Serializable" transaction isolation-level provided by relational databases play a crucial role.
‘Humanizing Data Strategy’:
People are emotional, irrational, and impulsive, but they also play a crucial part in any data strategy work. Yet why is the people part of data strategy so difficult? Tiankai Feng (Director, Data & AI Strategy, Thoughtworks) decodes the human aspects of data strategy into an actionable framework, linking human needs with business objectives through the Five Cs: Competence, Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, and Conscience.
