The Three-Body Problem by Liu Cixin - Book Discussion

Our next book is The Three-Body Problem by Liu Cixin. It is a 2008 book translated from Chinese in 2014, and won the Hugo Award for Best Novel. There is also a tv show adaptation on Netflix.

Wikipedia says “The series portrays a fictional past, present, and future wherein Earth encounters an alien civilization from a nearby system of three Sun-like stars orbiting one another, a representative example of the three-body problem in orbital mechanics.”

I am taking over the previous women’s sci-fi group from Amber, but had to remake it to avoid having to pay the meetup subscription fee 🙄 I’m excited to be hosting for the first time and hope we all have fun reading!
