About us
Welcome to Three Gems Amsterdam!
The goal of this group is to create a space for young people in Amsterdam to gather and explore a new way of embodying the present together, a way that honors humanity's relationship with nature.
Our vehicles for exploration are mindful movement, conscious food, and philosophical dialogue. Namely, we are interested in sharing Kum Nye yoga, good, clean, and fair meals, and deep conversation about life's topics, such as love, joy, sorrow, pleasure, relationship, death, attachment, ethics, aesthetics, the mind, and the senses.
We aim to collectively imagine and understand what a systemic worldview and the vision for a more compassionate and connected world might look like in practical terms.
While our mission is profound, we aim to design experiences that are simple and grounded. Our events will typically involve a gentle Kum Nye yoga session led by Iloy, who has experience teaching this Tibetan Buddhist healing tradition, plant-based dining experiences catered by Samantha and Lorenzo, who are graduates from Slow Food's University in Italy, and philosophical discussions on various topics, in which we actively inquire together as equals, without an authority.
Through our events, we intend to foster collective wisdom and plant seeds for a change in consciousness in our communities.
