Length: ~8 miles - In and Out
Difficulty: Moderate to High Moderate
Elevation: 2350 ft.
Trail Description: From the trailhead parking area, the first mile gains a total of around 400 feet. After that it continues to climb moderately with one strenuous section of switchbacks. We will continue up the road to the fire tower.

Directions to Trailhead: From Interstate 40 heading west take Exit 161 (last Williams Exit) at the stop sign turn left and head over the overpass then make the first right turn. Go about 1/2 mile down the frontage road and turn left follow the signs to Williams Ranger District Office.
Car pool location: Let's meet at the Fry's plaza on the southwest corner of I 17 and Bell Rd. Please park near the M&I Bank at the west end of the Fry's store. We will be meeting at 6:15 AM and leaving promptly at 6:30 AM!
I will collect a $1 voluntary donation. Please be sure to bring plenty of water and just in case rain gear.
