What we're about
Each Tuesday night during the Spring, Summer, and Fall, we gather at Mint Hill Memorial Park for a group brick workout. Each event lasts about 90 minutes, and there is no fee to participate-just bring your bike and your running shoes. However, in order to cover you with our USA Triathlon Insurance, I will need to get some info from you when you arrive to put you on our policy.
Our purpose is to give endurance athletes of all levels a group venue to prepare for endurance multisport events like Triathlon and Duathlon. We do structured group training in lieu of practicing alone. We practice the skills of cycling, running, pacing, hydration, nutrition, and recovery.
Local police are aware of our events and offer surveillance of our cars and bikes when we are away.
Each year, I prune people who join but don't participate. You can always join, but you have to attend to remain in Threshold Academy Triathlon Club.
