Welcome to the Thrift Flip Social and Creative Crew. This is a space for anyone who enjoys the process of finding second-hand items and transforming them into something new, functional, or just plain fun. Whether you are an experienced upcycler with a workshop full of tools or someone who has never touched a paintbrush but wants to learn how to breathe new life into a thrift store find, you are welcome here. We believe that creativity is better when shared, and this group is all about swapping techniques, troubleshooting projects, and finding inspiration in each other’s work.
Our meetups are relaxed and informal, focusing on the social side of making. We plan to get together to work on our own individual projects, share tips on sourcing materials, and offer feedback on ongoing flips. It is not about perfection or professional results, but rather about the joy of keeping items out of the landfill and making something that feels like your own.
