Hi fellow thrifters!
The idea of this group is simple - get people who love to go thrifting to shop for a different local charity's wishlist each month.
We will announce a charity each month with their permission, link to their in-kind donation wishlist, and encourage group members to shop together to make it social! We'll also create drop-off points on a specific date each month to aggregate the items for delivery to the supported orgs, making sure that the drop-offs are metro-accessible for those without cars. All you have to do is shop for people who need some help with friends!

December thrifting for charity event!
Arlington Central Library, 1015 N Quincy St, Arlington, VA, USHi again!
Our first recipient, with permission, is LSSNCA. Here is the link to their wishlist - they conveniently update their list each month to reflect highest needs. The coordinator, Alyssa, says they particularly need winter coats, and especially for men and children, as they tend to get more women's clothing. Warm men's clothing in sizes S-M and kids clothes are also welcomed!
Please grab a friend or two to go to your favorite thrift shops and see what you can find the first weekend of December. Then please come to the Arlington Central library parking lot for drop-off on Sunday, 14 December, between 12 and 2pm. Looking forward to seeing you there! Please do sign up so we know roughly how many people to expect and can bring vehicles accordingly.
