## The History of Outback

Nestled on the picturesque Six Mile Creek, just off the St. Johns River, Outback Crab Shack has been a cherished dining destination in St. Augustine since its original opening in 1984. Known for its fresh seafood and unique riverfront location, our restaurant quickly became a favorite for locals and tourists alike.
Although the original Outback Crab Shack was devastated by Hurricanes Matthew and Irma in 2016, we are excited to announce that our beloved restaurant is back! Outback Crab Shack has undergone extensive renovations. The building has been elevated above the floodplain, and our expansive dock, capable of accommodating up to 100 boats, has been completely rebuilt.
