“Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.” – Albert Schweitzer
Our careers are often seen as a series of milestones—titles, promotions, achievements. But the deeper truth is that success isn’t just about what we accomplish, it’s about the choices we make every day to align with what energizes and fulfills us.
Some decisions are obvious—like taking a new job or pivoting careers—but many are quieter: choosing curiosity over fear, setting boundaries that protect our creativity, or staying true to our values in the face of pressure.
Today, we’ll reflect on how the decisions we make in our careers shape not only our professional paths, but also our sense of purpose and well-being. Because success that costs your joy isn’t really success at all.

Gathering at the Central Library, Room 3-20A Idea lab from 11:00AM - 12:30PM
Each session begins with a thought-provoking quote, question, or story to inspire our conversation. From there, we’ll share our thoughts and experiences, learning from and supporting each other in a welcoming space.
We’ll meet for engaging discussions lasting 1.5 hours. This group is inclusive, welcoming people of all backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives. Respect and active participation are core values for our meetings.
If you RSVP but can’t attend, please update your status.
