Led by Ananda Leeke, a mindfulness teacher, author, and consultant, the #ThrivingMindfully Meetup Group was launched in April 2018 to:

•Create a diverse and inclusive mindfulness community in DC.

• Give instruction in the practice of meditation and mindfulness.

•Offer people a way to learn and practice meditation and mindfulness that allows them to connect deeply with themselves and others in their lives, careers, and businesses.

• Organize events where people can discuss, and experience meditation, mindfulness, and mindful living, creativity, and technology (social media) practices.

•Share resources (articles, blogs, books, events, music, podcasts, videos, and other information) that help people develop and sustain a regular meditation and mindfulness practice.
