Kevin Seefried (Sirius XM) Headlines @ Kelly’s

Join us downstairs at Kelly's for a special edition of Batting Cage Comedy!

Kevin Seefried (organizer of this group, producer of Batting Cage Comedy, comedian on Sirius XM, and person writing this sentence) will be closing the show with a half-hour of his favorite jokes, both new and old, in preparation for his upcoming hour-long show, “Mad About Me,” premiering at the Elgin Fringe Festival in September.

(Switching to first-person: hi! If you’ve only seen me host at Kelly’s, come check this show out. It’ll be a lot different than when I host — more joke-heavy, structured and cohesive, less crowdwork, a lot punchier than my usual “get to know ya” openings. I’m excited to polish a lot of material I’ve been honing for a long-time and to debut some of the newer bits I’m anxious about and really invested in. Would be really fun to have a big old crowd of comedy-lovers there as I continue developing this material and building my hour).

The show will also feature some of the best comics in the city, with TJ Ferguson coming through to host and Christine O’Dea and Martin Phillips stopping by for extended sets.
