Thursday Go: Code without the autopilot 🧠

AI writes a lot of our code now. That’s great for speed, but muscles you don’t use get weaker. Driving everywhere is efficient, and sometimes you still need to walk.

Once a week, we put the AI aside and think through a problem together, in Go.

What happens in the hour:

  • We pick a coding puzzle (LeetCode-style) and solve it as a group through remote mob programming: one person types, everyone thinks, and we rotate every few minutes
  • Then we make it idiomatic Go: tests, cleaner code, and sometimes benchmarks to compare approaches
  • We wrap up comparing approaches and what we learned

When: Thursdays, 3–4pm PT / 6–7pm ET
Where: Zoom (link shared after RSVP)
Cost: Free

Beginners and experienced Gophers are both welcome. Everyone takes a turn at the keyboard, and nobody is judged for not knowing something. No homework, no lecture. Just bring a coffee or tea.
