What we’re about
This friendly, informal group gets together to practice and learn about Tibetan (Dzogchen) Buddhism. The teachings offer practical guidance for increasing our happiness, joy, and peace right now, as well as a path to true enlightenment.
Sessions are open to everyone with no previous training required.
There is no charge; attendees have the opportunity to make a donation to support the group if they wish.

See all- Practice and learn Buddhism: In person and OnlineLink visible for attendees
We get together the first and third Sundays (usually; watch for changes) to practice The Buddha Path and learn about Buddhism together.
We meet in person in Bend, and we also broadcast online for those who are not in this area or feel more comfortable being online.
Our face-to-face teachings are held in the Hawthorn Healing Arts Center, 39 NW Louisiana Avenue in Bend. This is across Louisiana from McMenamins near downtown Bend. There is parking on the street as well as in the parking lot next to the building.
Feel free to dress in shoes that can be removed easily and comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Bring your cushion if you'd like; there will be cushions and chairs available. You might want to bring something to take notes with.

Please note that we will lock the Zoom meeting a few minutes after the start time, so please be on time.
These friendly and informal gatherings are open to everyone, with no previous training required. There is no charge; you will have the opportunity to make a donation to support our local Central Oregon Dharma Center, if you wish.
Practice compassion: bring a friend!
When you RSVP, Meetup assumes you are attending online--they somehow cannot handle a hybrid meeting. That doesn't cause any problems for us. Thanks for responding!
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I hope to see you soon!
Many blessings, Mary
