What we’re about
Our ideal is to maintain a balance of study and meditation. For this purpose we meet together on Sundays for meditation in the morning and study in the afternoon. We also have special learning intensives for deeper study, which deepens our meditation. Our regular classes are traditional: the resident teacher explains a Buddhist text and the students ask questions. We also have visiting teachers who may be either Tibetan or American, but the classes are always in English. The topics are religion, philosophy, or mind science, all in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. For more information go to www.labsum.org
