CTO & Co-founder at Meight. António’s background is in mechanical engineering and he has been working with engines all of his life. Before focunsing Meight he was an engineer for a Moto GP team. Now most of his time is focused on building Meight, a startup that focus on boosting profitability, scale operations and retain drivers with the most advanced carrier software.

📢 Speaker : Carlos Ribeiro
Carlos Ribeiro, PhD, is a founder and CTO of TWEVO, Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria for over 25 years and Researcher at the Telecommunications Institute. Its R&D topics are Wireless Communications, Digital Signal Processing, Fast Electronics and Artificial Intelligence, with more than 70 international publications, including book chapters, scientific journals and conferences. Before TWEVO, he participated in more than a dozen national and international R&D projects. With TWEVO, he led 3 EU-funded projects. Since 2020, he has focused on the electronic implementation of computer vision systems with AI for supervision and control of industrial processes.
