Ciao craftsmen,
we are pleased to have Matteo Baglini for the fifth meeting of the Ticino Software Craftsmanship!

ABSTRACT:
Every programming paradigm has its own jargon, functional programming is no different: Higher-Order Functions, Side effects, Point-Free Style and many more.
From my experience, however, the main difference is that in FP the jargon is different, these terms are not vague and inaccurate, they refer to precise abstractions, often borrowed from mathematics, useful for solving everyday problems.
In this live coding session, we solve a code kata using well-known abstraction like Monads, Monoid and Foldable.

SHORT BIOGRAPHY:
Matteo is always focused on simplicity and cost of change to create codebases that better adapt to the ever-evolving business world. He has gained experience in multiple domains and environments (web, desktop, embedded, mobile) with a strong focus on clean code, design and architecture.
