It's time for our annual Fall maintenance and family camping weekend!
Maintenance: Saturday, October 25th
Camping: Friday, October 24th - Sunday, October 26th
Location: Sherando Lake Recreation Area, 96 Sherando Lake Road, Lyndhurst, VA 22952
Description: This is a weekend for us to do what the club was set up to do! This is a weekend for us to do what the club was set up to do! We’ll maintain our assigned section of the Appalachian Trail, the Mau-Har Trail, Saint Mary’s Wilderness trails, and the White Rocks Falls trail. Come out to our base camp at Sherando Lake Recreation Area on Friday as early as noon; set up your tent at the Williams Branch Picnic Area. Remember that the gate is usually locked at 10 PM and opens on Saturday morning at 6 AM.

Crew signup sheets and an organizational meeting/safety briefing will be held on Saturday at 7:45 AM. Optional hikes are offered on Sunday.
