Description: Arrive at the Dozier Bridge Kayak Launch by 9:30 AM to unload boats and for the safety brief before put-in NLT 10:00 AM. This is a water-based only clean-up of West Neck Creek working north from Dozier Bridge. We will provide trash bags, TATC crews must provide their own boats and gear (loppers, saws, rakes, ropes, etc.) AND sufficient water for 3 hours of work on a sunny day. PFDs are required. If you are a solo paddler bringing a canoe with room for another person, please say so in your sign-up comments so that people without boats who would like to participate can contact you.
We will pick up trash; clear alligator grass; remove snags, blockages, and trash-rafts from the waterway; and cut back the creek bank vegetation overhanging the water.
Parking at the Dozier Bridge launch is limited so you may have to drop your boat of at the launch and then park your vehicle some distance from the put-in
