July31, August 6, 15 & 28, 2026, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Join us for some exciting trail work in St. Mary's Wilderness! We will be moving rocks to build steps on a steep and eroded section of trail. The hike in is 0.4miles. No experience is necessary. This is a great opportunity to learn about complex trail structures for those who have maintained trails before. Please bring water, lunch, sturdy footwear, and long pants. PPE and tools will be provided by us.

We will meet at the Mine Bank Creek Trailhead (37.91171, -79.08679) across from the Fork Mountain Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
