What we’re about
This is a group focused on getting to know the wonderful city of Tijuana wether it be through food, culture, or activities. All year round music and food festivals line up the busy weekend. As well as many new restaurants popping up just waiting to be explored. Any suggestions for activities are also welcomed.
Este grupo está enfocado en conocer la maravillosa ciudad de Tijuana atraves de gastronomía, cultura, y actividades. Todo el año hay festivales de música y comida. Tambien nuevos restaurantes listos para ser explorandos. Y para acabarle Tijuana tiene una vida de noche que termina más aya de las 2AM. Si tienes alguna sugerencia de actividades porfavor me avisan. Están bienvenidas.
First time down South or living in TJ? Come join us! This can be a more comfortable way of being exposed to big city across the border or simply making new friends. <br>All we ask is that you come with an open mind and a good attitude. <br>▪︎If coming from the US have passport/passport card. Will not be responsible for stranded people. / Si vienen de USA traigan su pasaporte/tarjeta de pasaporte. No me hago responsable por personas varadas.
▪︎You are responsible for your own transportation to and from the meetup point. Take into consideration parking, uber, and cross border time. / Tu eres responsable por tu transporte al grupo y de regreso. Toma en consideración parqueadero, Uber, y tiempo de cruzar la linea fronteriza.
▪︎Will wait max 15 min after scheduled time if running late with prior notice. After 15 min we will go forward with activities. / Esperamos máximo 15 min después del tiempo indicado con previo aviso. Después de 15 min seguimos con las actividades pero pueden alcanzarnos cuando puedan.
▪︎Bring or exchange at least 40 dollars or more depending on the activities. Preferably in smaller bills to make splitting easier. / Traigan ó cambien al menos 40 dólares ó más dependiendo de la actividad. Preferiblemente traigan cambió para hacer dividiendo cuentas más fácil.
▪︎No harassment of any kind will be tolerated. We are all adults and should act as such. / Ningún tipo de acoso va ser tolerado. Somos todos adultos y deberíamos actuar como si.
▪︎Alcohol- some activities include the of consumption of alcohol so you are responsible of yourself and how much you can handle. No babysitting or behavior that disrupts the group/activity will be tolerated. / Alcohol- algunas actividades incluyen el consumo de alcohol entonces tu eres responsable por ti mismo y cuánto puedes tolerar. Ningún comportamiento que disrupta el grupo o actividad va ser tolerado.
TIPS <br>▪︎Uber works in Tijuana recommended rather than get a taxi <br>▪︎Check your phone plan to see if you have international rates/minutes. If you don't your phone will not work as soon as you cross the border <br>▪︎If driving across the border 24hr parking cost about 100 pesos
