tim.js meetup 36: How do you "type" JavaScript?
Details
How do you "type" JavaScript?
In the context of having various JavaScript flavors & languages that compile to JS, which offer static typing, the aim of this meetup is to answer a few questions:
• will static types make us write better code?• will static types reduce the number of bugs?
• are dynamic languages suited for "small" projects only?
• can I mix static & dynamic types?
• should I switch to a statically typed JavaScript flavor?
To help us answer these questions, we have invited 2 special guests:
• Radu Marinescu
• Radu Fericean
Moderator: Andrei Pfeiffer
This meetup will take place in a panel-like format, no presentations. The audience is welcome to contribute to the discussion.
