Post-COVID Couple's Walk

Details
Hello Time for Love Members!
I hope this invitation finds everyone healthy, vaccinated, and safely through this terrible pandemic. As our country, our commonwealth, and our community starts the 'return to normal', I think the time is perfect to schedule our first couple's walk in a very long time. For anyone who has not yet participated, the walks are very straightforward, and serve a healthy positive purpose. We simply meet somewhere at a designated time, with our spouses, our partners, our families, or even our same-sex platonic friends. And each couple holds hands and walk together. That's it!
For this particular walk, I have chosen Boston's South End, an architecturally and culturally distinctive part of the city, filled with stately Victorian bow front brick rowhouses, charming art galleries, cafes, and restaurants, and residents from every background. We're meeting at the Boston Center for the Arts, also known as the Cyclorama. Cycloramas were built throughout the US following the Civil War to display massive art works like the Battle of Gettysburg and allow the public to see how portions of the Civil War played out. Over the years other large art installations were also hosted there, the final one being Custer's Last Fight in 1890. The site now houses a large multi-use arts complete with theaters, galleries, work spaces, concert halls, and restaurants.
My husband Scott and I will be in front of the Cyclorama entrance on Saturday, July 17th at 11am, and we'll be recognizable because we're wearing matching blue ballcaps with our names printed on them. Once everyone who has RSVP'd has shown up, we'll begin the walk through the South End, and I encourage anyone who has a historical, artistic, or cultural tidbit to share to speak up! I've charted a route through the neighborhood which takes us back to our starting point in around 30 minutes or so. My husband and I will be heading over to Banyan Tree afterwards for a light lunch and everyone is welcome to join.
The event will proceed rain or shine, be sure and wear comfortable shoes for walking, and sunscreen as well.
Update: here is a link to the itinerary of the walk. Google estimates a 30-minute duration, but that is without any stops
