[Long Classics] MIDDLEMARCH by George Eliot (parts 1-4)

We will read the first half of Middlemarch by George Eliot, inclusive of the first 4 books (up to p427 in the Penguin edition). Then for August we will read the second half.

We meet on the first Saturday of each month to read long classics in parts so that we can motivate, learn from and support each other through the lengthiest, greatest classics in world literature. This is a separate group from our regular classics meetup on the third Saturday of the month.
We want to support readers to finish these difficult books! So if you are having trouble or need some extra support, we have a WhatsApp group, or you can comment below or reach out by direct message. If others are struggling to keep up with the pace, we can adjust it if we have been too ambitious.
