Fermentation Party Event

Timișoara hosts a significant but still segmented community of life science researchers, working in academic and non-academia organizations, exploring various topics, ranging from plant biology to cancer, from biochemistry to bioremediation.

We are continuing the series of monthly informal gatherings open to researchers and other interested people surrounding this proto-ecosystem. The Fermentation Parties serve as occasions for participants to share general informations on their current and future research interest, issues they are facing, generating new pathways for insights and feedback, collaboration proposals, resources sharing and success celebration and also creating opportunities for young (or even future) researchers to expose their ideas and projects and eventually attract support from participating experienced scientists and their organizations.

During the events, each participant briefly present themselves and their work, use the opportunity to contribute with opinions and feedback into a whole group segment discussion (with a theme to be jointly decided) and, of course, to interact freely with the other attendants.

The Fermentation Parties natural venue could only be the fantastic Ferment Restaurant that so kindly agreed to offer us hosting and a selection of their incredible tasty and appreciated creative meals during the afternoon of the last Tuesday of each month, in a day that is otherwise their rest day.

There's no fee to be paid in order to participate to the Fermentation Party events but to reward the Ferment Restaurant owners and staff's kindness, each participant is expected to consume food and drinks amounting to a minimum of 90 lei.
