SCMUPT - Timișoara's 2020-2021 academic year mobile projects presentation

SCMUPT is a contest aiming to expose young developers of mobile applications, and is in constant growth having reached the 9th edition. The event, conceived mainly to the students enrolled at the Faculty of Automation and Computers (AC) of Politehnica University Timișoara is being organised every year during the winter session, in mid-January, and targets to grow and attract young programmers passionate about mobile development, from Timișoara, as well as nationwide.

The contest does not seek to impose a certain level of difficulty or complexity of the projects, but seeks valuable ideas. What was learned so far is that good ideas can often hide behind rudimentary applications, at first glance. This year, for its 9th edition, the competition in organised in two sections, with separate judging criteria and rankings: Utility & Lifestyle Apps and Community & Entertainment Apps.

As in recent years, Timisoara Mobile Development Group joins Banat IT Association, ARIES-TM in supporting the organisers, contributing to the event visibility to the local community, opening it to all interested parties in the mobile field: professionals, entrepreneurs, passionate students, curious students, and more.
