Garden Delights! (Mount Vernon)

Grow, baby, grow! We'll meet at the WSU Discovery Garden in Mount Vernon. We'll go for a trail walk in the area and see what kinds of plants the master gardeners are featuring, and learn about them. We'll finish off the morning with a story and a picnic together.

Timeline:
10:00 - Meet at the gardens
10:15 - Explore the gardens
11:00 - Story time with Mr. Adam (organizer)
11:00 - Picnic

What to bring:
-Your tiny explorer (ages 0-4)
-Kids' transportation (carrier or stroller as needed, paths are ADA accessible)
-Food, utensils, and napkins for yourself and your family
-Preferred seating/blanket for picnic (if desired)

Bathroom Facilities
-There is a bathroom at the gardens.

Notes on risk and safety:
-All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18+.
-Adults attendees are responsible for their own children and the safety of their children at all times. It is each parent's/guardian's responsibility to determine whether each activity is appropriate for their child's participation.
-Older siblings are welcome, with proper parent/guardian supervision
-This outing has risks including, but not limited to: falls, insect bites/stings, hurting plants (thorn pricks, itching, etc.), head-bonking hard surfaces (benches, concrete, rocks, etc.), splinters, incidental sharp edges from items/equipment in the park, passing vehicles, drowning in the pond.
