Playground and Splash Pad! (Anacortes)

This week, we'll play at an awesome playground. Then we'll beat the heat in the splash pad.

*Note - A lot of the playground is designed for older children, so active parental supervision is important on or near any equipment. There is also lots of open space for play with balls, toys, etc. Playing surfaces include wood chips, concrete/asphalt (wet & dry), and grass.

Timeline:
10:00 - Meet at the playground
10:05 - Play!
10:45- Story time with Mr. Adam (organizer)
11:00 - Splash pad opens
11:30 - Picnic

What to bring:
-Your tiny explorer (ages 0-3)
-Water play clothes
-Extra clothes / diapers
-Food, utensils, and napkins for yourself and your family
-Your preferred seating and/or blankets for the ground (if you like)
*There are picnic tables around the park

Bathroom Facilities
-There is bathroom at the park

Notes on risk and safety:
-All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18+.
-Adults attendees are responsible for their own children and the safety of their children at all times. It is each parent's/guardian's responsibility to determine whether each activity is appropriate for their child's participation.
-Older siblings are welcome with proper parent/guardian supervision
-This outing has risks including, but not limited to: slips, falls, insect bites/stings, hurting plants (thorn pricks, itching, etc.), head-bonking hard surfaces (benches, concrete, rocks, etc.), splinters, incidental sharp edges from items/equipment in the park, choking hazards (rocks shells, wood chips, etc.), passing vehicles.
