Bird Stalking in Washington Park (Anacortes)

Sneaky, sneaky! This week, we'll meet at Washington Park in Anacortes. We'll go for a shore & trail walk in the area and see what birds we can spot. We'll finish off the morning with a story and a picnic together.
*Note: Bring binoculars if you have them...a couple extra sets of binoculars will be provided.
Timeline:
10:00 - Meet at the park (pavilion near the boat launch)
10:15 - Begin walk / bird-watching
10:50 - Return to picnic area
11:00 - Story time with Mr. Adam (organizer)
11:10 - Picnic
What to bring:
-Your tiny explorer (ages 0-3)
-Kids' transportation (carrier or stroller for some gentle off-roading)
-Food, utensils, and napkins for yourself and your family
-Your preferred seating and/or blankets for the ground
*There are picnic tables, but I can't guarantee they'll be available.
Bathroom Facilities
-There are bathrooms with running water in this park.
Notes on risk and safety:
-All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18+.
-Adults attendees are responsible for their own children and the safety of their children at all times. It is each parent's/guardian's responsibility to determine whether each activity is appropriate for their child's participation.
-Older siblings are welcome, with proper parent/guardian supervision
-This outing has risks including, but not limited to: falls, insect bites/stings, hurting plants (thorn pricks, itching, etc.), head-bonking hard surfaces (benches, concrete, rocks, etc.), splinters, incidental sharp edges from items/equipment in the park, waterfront/drowning, passing vehicles.
