### The Main Event: The "Three Nouns" Project

As a therapist, I know firsthand that real connection doesn’t happen through standard small talk. To bypass the awkward "What do you do for work?" script, we’re using a proven tool from my practice designed to spark genuine storytelling.
The Concept: You'll choose three nouns that represent the best parts of your world:

  • People who inspire you.
  • Places that changed your perspective.
  • Things you own with a story.
  • Events you'll never forget.

The Setup: We will hand out index cards at arrival so you can jot your three nouns down (or you can think of them before you arrive!). When we pair off for our one-on-one rotations, you’ll swap cards with your partner, pick the most intriguing noun on their list, and ask for the story behind it. No guessing what to say, no awkward silences. Just real, fascinating glimpses into who people actually are.

### The Mechanics: How It Works

  • The 6-Minute Spark: You will have six minutes with each partner (ideally aiming for about three minutes each to share). While your "Three Nouns" card is the perfect shortcut to bypass small talk, these are your minutes—feel free to let the conversation drift wherever it flows naturally!
  • The Rotation: When the buzzer sounds, one group stays anchored at their station while the other shifts to the next partner.
  • The Low-Pressure Match: At the end of the rotations, everyone will get a matchmaking index card. Simply write your name at the top, along with the names of anyone you felt a spark or connection with.
  • The Private Reveal: Drop your card into our designated box before you leave. I will cross-reference the cards after the event and DM you directly with your mutual matches. No awkward, on-the-spot rejections required.
  • Keep the Vibe Going: If you hit it off naturally and want to continue hanging out at the park or grab a bite afterward, by all means, do it! We are here to have fun, meet cool people, and get to know others on a deeper level.

If interest is high enough, I will happily rent a park pavilion out of my own pocket so we have a dedicated, shaded home base and I’ll be sure to let everyone know well in advance if that's the plan! If we stick to a casual setup on the grass, you are highly encouraged to bring a lawn chair or a cozy blanket so you can sit back and relax while we chat.
To keep the energy up, I'll be bringing a spread of snacks for everyone to enjoy. Everyone else is warmly welcome to bring along their favorite finger foods or a refreshing (non-alcoholic) drink to share with the group!

If you have any questions at all before the big day, please don't hesitate to reach out. See you there!
